Our Guarantee
We are confident in our ability to provide you high-value, on-time transportation. We are so confident that we guarantee our service. If our service is outside of the guidelines listed below, you are entitled to a free trip, or a refund if the trip was pre-paid. Our guarantee is limited to the value of the trip during which Custom Transit failed to meet its service standard. We are not responsible for failure to meet the standards, when the failure is primarily caused by the weather, airline delays, unavoidable traffic congestion (e.g., unanticipated construction, traffic accidents, traffic-control device malfunctions, etc.), your own tardiness, Acts of God (e.g., earthquake, flood, etc.) or Acts of War or Terror. We are not responsible for incidental or collateral expenses. Custom Transit is the sole and final arbiter of any compensation due under this guarantee.
Our goals in giving you this guarantee are to (1) give you confidence in our service; (2) treat you fairly; and (3) hold ourselves to a higher standard than other transportation providers. In order to receive a free trip or get a refund, under this guarantee, you must request it from the Custom Transit staff. If you ever feel that we have not treated you properly, please request to speak with the owner. He will return your call, usually, within 24 hours.
Our Service Standards
Ann Arbor Airport Shuttle
From Ann Arbor\Ypsilanti to Detroit Metropolitan Airport: You are entitled to a free-ride to the airport if we fail to get you to your terminal within 70 minutes of your scheduled pick-up time.From Detroit Metropolitan Airport to Ann Arbor\Ypsilanti: You are entitled to a free-ride from the airport if we fail to get you to your destination in Ann Arbor or Ypsilanti within 70 minutes after you arrive at our vehicle in the Ground Transportation Center.
Roundtrips Between Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti: If you are entitled to a free-ride on either leg of your roundtrip, as outlined above, we will credit you with one-half of the roundtrip fare. In the event that you have pre-paid for a roundtrip, we will refund any credit to you by sending a check to your home address.
Private-Vehicle and Black-Car Services
From Ann Arbor\Ypsilanti to Detroit Metropolitan Airport: You are entitled to a free-ride to the airport if we are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled pick-up time.From Detroit Metropolitan Airport to Ann Arbor\Ypsilanti: You are entitled to a free-ride from the airport if we arrive in the Ground Transporation Center at Detroit Metropolitan Airport more than 10 minutes after your scheduled arrival time, and you are waiting for us.
Roundtrips Between Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti: If you are entitled to a free-ride on either leg of your roundtrip, as outlined above, we will credit you with one-half of the roundtrip fare. In the event that you have pre-paid for a roundtrip, we will refund any credit to you by sending a check to your home address.
