Private Vehicle Airport Service

We have designed this service to provide you with an outstanding combination of value, reliability and comfort. Custom Transit's Private Vehicle Airport Service offers you a private ride to Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), much like a taxi, at a price lower than a municipally-licensed metered cab is legally allowed to charge. Our Private Vehicle Airport Service uses minivans, vans, and sedans which are registered as limousines with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). MDOT requires a much more rigorous safety inspection for limousines than what most municipalities, including Ann Arbor, require for taxis.

This service has the following features:
  • A low, flat-rate, private vehicle to- and from the airport.
  • 24 hours-a-day availability. Late-night and early-morning service requires an additional fee.
  • An extended service area, including Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Dexter, Milan, Saline and Whitmore Lake.

  • Flight-tracking, so that our vehicle is waiting for you at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) when you arrive.

  • For an additional fee, our driver can meet you in baggage claim at DTW, and help you with your bags.

Custom Transit offers private vehicle service for parties of 1-4 people and parties of 5-8 people. We will service parties of 1-4 people with either a minivan, a full-sized van, or a sedan. When booking a private vehicle for 1-4 people, you may not specify what type of vehicle you desire. When booking a private vehicle for 5-8 people, your order will be serviced with a 12-passenger van.
